Mobile apps connected to your site
iOS and Android apps developed in React Native and fed by your WordPress site: your editors publish once, the site and the app follow.
One app, one content
The app reads articles through the WordPress API. For the rest — calendars, results, statistics — we build the missing API, and the scripts that fetch the data where it is born.
React Native produces the iOS app and the Android app from the same code.
LingoApp
A language-learning platform and its app: a programme every day, role plays and an AI teacher to talk with, progress synchronised between computer and phone.
GP Inside
MotoGP news, with the full results of every session: standings, lap times, weather, records. The site had to hold 15,000 to 20,000 simultaneous visitors during grands prix.
Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Basketball
The federation’s site and app: calendars, results of every division, statistics per team and per player for each game, fetched directly from the scorers’ tables.
Questions about apps
Do two apps have to be developed, for iOS and for Android?
No: with React Native, the same code gives both apps.
Do I need a site to have an app?
Not necessarily, but it is often the simplest: your content is entered once, in WordPress, and the app shows it.
Can an app show live data?
Yes: sports results, calendars, standings. We write the scripts that fetch the data and the API that serves it to the app.
Your app, connected to your tools
A mobile app relies on the same services as your site: maps, calendars, payment, files.
And also…
The API of your WordPress site, live data sources, Amazon S3.
